THE CHALLENGE
Across Zambia and Ghana, field teams were on the ground every day selling products and services, distributing souvenirs, running promotions, engaging consumers, and executing campaigns for major brands.
The challenge was not activity. The challenge was visibility.
Marketing teams had little to no real time insight into what was happening in the field. Reporting was delayed, inventory accountability was inconsistent, and campaign managers often had to make decisions without live data.
What they needed was not another spreadsheet. They needed operational intelligence.
WHAT WE BUILT
- In partnership with BTL Africa, we developed a modular field intelligence platform capable of supporting multiple brands from a centralized architecture.
- The platform integrated real time GPS tracking, activity logging, game participation monitoring, and souvenir distribution management into one connected ecosystem.
- Field teams could report activity instantly, while supervisors and marketing managers gained live visibility into campaign execution across locations and teams.
THE IMPACT
- We tracked over 40,000 data points. Campaign managers could now monitor field performance in real time.
- Brands gained clearer visibility into campaign execution, inventory movement, and consumer engagement across multiple markets.
- The platform transformed field operations from reactive reporting into proactive campaign management and established a scalable model for future FMCG and telecom activations.
