THE CHALLENGE
Every year, thousands of guests attend some of Ghana’s biggest awards events organized by Xodus Communications, including the 40 Under 40 Awards, Ghana Manufacturing Awards, and Ghana Insurance Awards.
But behind the scenes, there was a growing problem.
Every attendee registration lived on a rented third party platform. Xodus was paying recurring licensing fees while valuable audience data was being stored outside their ecosystem. They were building world class events but did not fully own the audience relationships behind them.
They needed a platform that belonged entirely to them.
WHAT WE BUILT
- Working closely with the Xodus team, we mapped the entire attendee journey from registration to event day check in.
- BrandSauce Marketing Technologies led the end to end design, development, and deployment of version 1.0 of the platform.
- The result was a fully customized event registration system built around attendee management, ticketing, reporting, and seamless on site check in.
- Most importantly, ownership of all attendee data stayed with Xodus.
THE IMPACT
- Xodus eliminated recurring third party platform costs entirely.
- The organization now owns 100% of its attendee and registration data, creating a powerful first party marketing asset for future campaigns and events.
- Guests experienced faster and smoother event day check ins, while the platform itself became scalable enough to support future growth across multiple awards events.
